Tibetan Singing Bowls are metal bowls made with the intention to promote relaxation and peace. Therapeutic grade bowls are traditionally hand hammered out of 7 different metals. Each metal is said to represent a specific planet in our solar system. The seven bowls each have a different root note associated with the human chakra system.  The strong vibrational sounds created by the bowls resonate with the vibratory patterns in the body and help to create a balanced flow of energy through the chakras and a sense of harmony between the body and mind.

Sri Krishna and I, 2014

I learned the art of Singing Bowl Therapy with my Guru, Sri Krishna, at the Swyambunath Temple in Kathmandu, Nepal. I incorporate the bowls into my yoga classes as well as the Reiki sessions to help deepen the experience and promote even more positivity and balance. I also lead singing bowl meditation classes and workshops. If you or someone you know would be interested in this form of healing please contact me with any questions or to set up an appointment.
